Our TemBreak series offers the models of the 30A to 4000A frames with a broad range of breaking capacity from 2.5 kA to 180 kA, and we can offer both thermal magnetic and electronic MCCBs. These thermal magnetic types can have ranges of thermal adjustable type and thermal fixed type that allows you to select the most suitable breaker for your system


TemBreak MCCBs provide secure, automatic protection from overload, short circuit and earth faults. Switching and complete isolation (as defined by IEC947-2) of circuits is possible with the standard MCCB.
Competitively priced, this well established range covers current ratings between 10A and 2500A, with a choice of fault breaking capacity of up to 180kA. With choice comes economy of selection, and TERASAKI continue to offer the option of low cost thermal magnetic MCCBs up to 800A.

When a more controllable protective characteristic is required, for close co-ordination in complex systems, why not use the most flexible microprocessor MCCB over-current relay in its class? Each standard TemBreak microprocessor over-current relay has over 200,000 unique time/current curves available to the user. Under and over protection due to harmonic content of current waveforms does not occur in TemBreak MCCBs. They detect true r.m.s. current up to the 19th harmonic.

Features of the TemBreak Electronic Moulded Case Circuit Breaker
Long time delay trip, short time delay trip, and instantaneous trip are available as standard.

All of long time delay trip, short time delay trip, pretrip alarm, and ground fault trip can be adjusted. The rated current can be adjusted in a range between 50% and 100%. For short time delay trip, ramp characteristics can be selected with the switch to enable selective coordination with lower breakers and fuses.

The multi-protective device uses the r.m.s. value control. It samples peak current every 0.5msec. to calculate a root-mean- square value. Therefore, harmonics up to 19th harmonic are accurately detected at 50 Hz to prevent any malfunction from occurring due to harmonics.
