Electrical loads from 80A to 6300A can be protected and switched with confidence as TERASAKI Air Circuit Breakers are known as the most reliable on the market. Since the beginning of the production and sales of the AT type air circuit breaker, the TemPower air circuit breakers have been used for more than 10 years.
 
TemPower offers ultra high fault making and breaking capacities tested by ASTA, and approved by Lloyds Register, GL, BV, DNV and AB. When a more controllable protective characteristic is required, for close co-ordination in complex systems, why not use the most flexible microprocessor ACB relay in its class? Each standard TemPower over-current relay has over 200,000 unique time/current curves available to the user. They always detect true r.m.s. current up to the 19th harmonic.

The TERASAKI ACB offers long term cost savings for plant owners and operators over a long term. Robust construction and ease of maintenance (arcing contacts can be replaced on site, for example) mean that a TERASAKI ACB is operational after years of arduous switching and fault breaking service.

The height of draw-out models is unified at 492 mm for the frames ranging from the 630A to 2000A and at 526 mm for the models ranging from the 2500A to 4000A.The depth of all the models is unified at 458 mm. The r.m.s. sensing type multifunctional overcurrent tripping relay and other various accessories are available to meet customers' diverse requirements.

Type AOR-1B Over-current release for TemPower

The Model AOR-1B over-current tripping relay mounted on the TemPower uses the r.m.s. sensing method to prevent any malfunction from occurring due to harmonics. It also provides various overload protection characteristics such as the hot start characteristics to prevent abnormal overheating of load equipment, and the N-phase protection function to protect the electric lines of the N-phase from distorted current. In addition, the AOR-1B has sufficient discrimination and protective coordination characteristics including ultra-inverse-time characteristics IT and IT and ramp characteristics.

Type AOR-1B is an 8-bit microprocessor controlled RMS sensing over- current release, and the following protection function can be selected.

  • Adjustable Instantaneous Trip (or MCR function)
  • Adjustable Pre-Trip Alarm
